Whether you're a winter sports neophyte or a World Cup wannabe, Park City Mountain Resort has exactly what you're after - huge moguls, over 350 inches a year of fresh powder, and perfectly groomed runs. Add to that the challenge of terrain parks and recreational racing, and you've got a mountain that fulfills the dreams of even non-Olympians.

Improvements on the mountain itself include new glading in the locals' favorite Black Forest terrain, near the top of the McConkeys lift. Park City Mountain Resort has also completed the Eagle Race Arena, added a halfpipe, the new Sitka Super Play Park, and a public MountainCross course. Located near the NASTAR course on Blanche, the MountainCross course offers side by side racing with a mix of bumps, berms, and banked turns.

Deer Valley is known for its grooming and has more grooming equipment per run than anywhere else in the country. It's like going down corduroy early in the morning before it gets tracked up.

Located throughout the mountain are mountain hosts who will take you on guided tours of the mountain free of charge to give you a good feel of what's available. There's an abundance of skiing and diverse terrain on the four mountains, which will keep all skiers of all abilities satisfied. Last season, Deer Valley increased its uphill capacity to 39,700 skiers per hour, but the resort will continue to sell 6000 passes per day, limiting the potential of over crowding.
