The Holiday Magic Returns to Park City Mountain Resort
Park City Utah thrives during the festive season. This year is the 50th Anniversary of Park City bringing joy to thousands every year and once again Santa will be on hand to kick off the holiday season. On December 14th, Santa will be joined by Rudolph and the other reindeer as he descends on the town lift at 5:30pm. There will be plenty of holiday treats throughout the evening once he arrives with his sleigh of goodies.
For the 48th consecutive year, the traditional torchlight parade will run on Christmas Eve. Santa will be hitting the Park City Mountain Resort Slopes throughout the day, and will lead 100+ ski and snowboard instructors down the PayDay run at sunset. The best viewing platform to see Santa’s sleigh run is at Resort Plaza where you can enjoy complimentary coffee and snacks.
Other 2013 Park City events include:
- Shopping on the historic Main Street, stores are a wide variety of old and new with plenty of boutique shops for that last minute Christmas gift.
- Be one of the first Santa’s on the slopes at Canyons Resort from the 21st – 25th December and you can ski for free all day!
- Feel like a particular cuisine? You should be able to find it amongst Park City’s 100+ restaurants.
- Santa will take time out of his schedule on Christmas Day (9am – 11am & Midday – 1:30pm) at Deer Valley Ski Resort to take photos with everyone.
