With the start of spring blossoming, your thoughts may be starting to shift from powder-covered ski slopes to something more colorful and social. Park City Peaks Hotel would like to suggest making some time to embrace the culture here in beautiful Utah. In fact we recommend Park City’s Beethoven Music Festival as the ideal outlet for such outings.
Annual Beethoven Festival
The annual Beethoven music festival has won crowds over in the years past with music critics stating “…no one does it better than the Beethoven Festival” and “The Beethoven Festival Park City has become a magnet for many of the most gifted artists of this era”. Pretty high praise indeed given the significant growth of quality music events over the past decade. As with our skiing and sporting venues, Park City is proud to offer this world-class event of a different kind.
Date & Location
The 2014 season is set to continue this trend of highly praised musical performances with three concerts this Spring being played on April 5th, 6th and 7th at 3 different locations around town.
This year’s Beethoven Festival will feature a number of acclaimed artists including:
- The Schulhof Duo for violin and cello on each of the three days
- The von Weber quintet (well known for his solo compositions)
- Milhaud Duos
- Shostakovich Trio
You can purchase tickets online using PayPal here. Starting at $20 for one show, you can make great savings by purchasing a punch card to attend other festivals throughout the year. Running since 1984, the Park City Music Festival is a non-profit festival supported by loyal sponsors and donations that allow concerts to be performed each season every year.
For those interested, there is also a brunch offered. The contact information for brunch reservations are located here – but they require you to email or call so don’t leave it until the last minute!
